Miles Davis is considered one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century. In addition to various jazz styles such as cool jazz, hard bob, free jazz and jazz rock, Davis first gained fame through his bebop jazz. This is characterized by greater rhythmic freedom, faster tempo, as well as more complex harmony schemes, which seem to dissolve over long stretches of improvisation and culminate in an independence of each piece that has to be created again and again. My pictorial compositions are tied to this rapid scheme of complex harmonies and improvisations, both in the rhythmic form and in the sequence of colors. Color dilutions that are constantly being created are superimposed layer by layer on the previously created improvisation of the color space, dissolve it for a moment and, through this process of self-renewal, create ever more complex harmonies in the color and shape composition.
